Is there a "have them both" option, a a Tale of Two Toms? Even if the Ritchey isn't by Tom, I'd have a hard time releasing that bike unless it was for a Tom by Tom. Better make sure the other Tom is by Tom too, or you could wind up with no Tom whatsoever! Then again, too many Toms could be confusing too.

Great, and now with the paint close up, defo original paintwork. TET295 confirms it as an early 1993 model. More details here (it was already listed).

Sadly no ask is $1000.00 cdn for the HOT probably could negotiate but not sure what it should command in it's current state

Yeah that feels like too much, especially being a rebuild. In end, you need to follow your heart. I think the Kona would be fun, but the Ritchey would fit better with where I ride

Well to put this thread to bed the deal isn't going down. other guy didn't want a repaint. But after carrying on the conversation he told me he was in the process of building a Klunker so I asked for a picture of it.
Yes that is the Dx frame I traded for my 65 Schwinn that the guy traded to him as payment for building his Skull Skates bike. lol small world.

So still working on this deal. My goal would be to restore as close to catalogue as reasonable. Wondering about this fork however. If I wanted a velocity stem I'm thinking this fork would not work. Can someone in the know shed some light on this pleaese.
