Kona Cinder Kone

I'm at the same height than you. Most my bikes are 18" or 19". I would never go beyond that, though. If you intend to do some real mountain biking never buy a too big frame, though. My Kona from that same era is 19". When in doubt, ask if you can try the bike first. Bikes and shoes are not something you can buy just by looking pictures. Good hunting!

Im 182cm give or take, about 6" 2". I too like a chuckable bike but a 18" kona has me slapping my knees on the bars.

Ok, I guess I'll look for something around 19''.
I'm a road bike fan (mainly steel vintage bikes). So, my knowledge about MTB is rather limited. I'd like to have a MTB, so that I can get some rides with my friends during winter. I prefer a retro bike geometry, with thin tubes, only with front suspension. So, let's see what I can find (I'll post here some options), hopping you can give me some help.
Thanks!

Kona Cinder Cone. Hint for spelling: check the frame ;).

There's a KLINE thread over on MTBR where the OP is taking a beating at the moment.
