JRJ Olympic Track

Re: Julian Marshall JRJ

Julian, you have done a stunning job refinishing the JRJ frameset you sold me via eBay in 2004, collected funds from me, and then failed to ship to me. As you recall, I had looked forward to matching it up to the similar JRJ track bike/path racer which I rode in my youth.
If my making this post occasions for you some embarrassment amongst your peers, I have no real regret. You may well have found that frame in a skiff or the back of a truck, I don't know, but I do feel your ignoring my dozens of e-mails as well as other attempts to contact simply prove you to be what we here in the states used to call "dumpster divers." Please take that as a complement, it is after all one or two rungs higher than "thief."
That being said, its a lovely bike, I hope you enjoy it, and in a way I appreciate having been able to help fund your restoration of it. Tell the shop you wrote the check to that they did a good job.

Most sincerely,

Dale Phelps, Montagna lunga Colorado USA
