Identify tires (and possibly advice on front/rear mounting)

I very recently picked up a Mongoose IBOC Pro from '90 (?) fitted with some slicks. Seller threw in a pair of Onza's that were very decent and originally fitted.
My questions, if you to choose to Answer them:
- is it a pair in the way that they belong to eachother?
- if so, Whats the way of mounting them
- and as a bonus, whats the type?

I think the one on the left is a 'smoke' rear tyre, and wasnt the other one called a 'dart'? , for the front. usually fitted like this as a pair. Smokes on the front were dreadful, and when fitted to rear, fitted so that the 'horseshoe' effect cuts into the mud.

Front is left, rear is right.
Looks like they are both pointed in the right direction if they would roll towards you.

Just a guess but I'm fairly that's correct.

def not Panaracers Dart.

Onza Rip and Rail

Front is on right.
Arrows face forwards
Rear is on left
You choose direction. We ran them with paddles digging in - i.e. reverse of the front in the photo....

Nah, the right is an Aggro, but the left is neither a Rail, nor Aggro counterpart the Honch from memory.
Actually it probably is the Honch, just not seen one for some time.

While Onza didn't really have them as a set and even had the 'pairs' down as different grip types.
The Rip/Rail was a combo and Aggro/Honch was a combo, probably as they had the Smoke/Dart styling.

There is way too much tyre there for them to be a Rip & Rail.
