I want a vintage moped...how do they work....??

Beware of escalating costs with vintage mopeds, engines can seize-up without warning especially if it hasn't been run for a long time, and repair bills cost virtually the same as you would pay for a full-size motorcycle, so it's best if you know how to fix them yourself. Electrics are pretty easy to work on and I would encourage anyone to have a go because almost invariably any electrical fault will be something simple and obvious - bad earths, broken wires and blown bulbs. I suppose the same might be true of motorcycles but on a moped it's usually dead easy to get at the wiring.

Re:

It's all good.

Go for what you like.

No reason for any engine to seize, just feel how it cycles manually, and if it is not smooth pull it apart before use and check everything is sound.

It is not rocket science.

Neither is wiring, very simple on older machines. Idiot proof!
