Now do I even bother with 100k or is 50k too wimpy? At least on a 29er I won't ruin my back

I'll most likely ride modern too mate.

Did it a few times on the single speed and is still fun and fast on the climbs although slow on the faster descents.

I really liked the HoNC. And yes, remember it selling out in a matter of hrs.

Used to be my village ride. 50 was the social distance. 100 needs to be taken seriously. You can always do 75 by going 25/50 or 50/25 depending how you feel as there are four loops making up the distances with tea and cake stop.

Nothing really has changed bar the start which is in the grounds of the castle and its no longer a mass start, they send you off in waves instead.

Conditions are good around Winchcombe at the moment, assuming we don’t get much more rain it should be a nice, clean fast one.
