We used to (on a different forum) do a bucket chain, someone local collects, meets the next in line at an easy to reach destination and on it passes from person to person till reaches it's new home. we once move a mini moto from Carlisle to Dorset this way, it was then entered as a prize in a raffle for the blood runners.
