HELP with frame id peugeot perthus pro reynolds 753

Hi do all Peugeot Perthus pro Reynolds 753 chain hangers
I thought it was a Peugeot Perthus pro Reynolds 753 but not sure now
it has no chain hanger.
it's definitely a 1987 Peugeot and is the right weight for a Reynolds 753
Frame No B71036755 it as bocama lugs bcm
frame weight around 1700g

From memory, they did. "This bit" is for hanging the chain on when you remove the back wheel.
Pugs also had the 2 inches or so of chrome plate showing on the seat stays like the example in your pic.

Don't remember them in green though. Always loved the graphite ones

Hi, I just had a look at my Perthus pro. It is identical to yours except mine is original grey/chrome. Also has chain holder on rear stay. All other fittings are identical including double bottle cage mounts. The winner may be my serial number.

B71036665 is very close to yours..

Would the seat post diameter confirm?

seat tube measurement inside diameter. around 27mm
 
Just had a look at the braze , its silver on the lugs , gear mounts
and gold at the top of the seat stays

If memory serves you couldn't heat 753 above 650 degrees C so that meant silver solder had to be used which explains the silver fillet at the lugs etc.

Not sure why the seat stays are gold coloured at the junction?
