Don't even bother with the crossing, there is no need. Marin used the design setup for years in their top end frame. It would have changed if it was ever a problem.

I have a similar setup for my rock 91 altitude but even more extreme as it goes to the top tube.
The cables give up after a. It and crack and the steering as you need to run nice short cables to stop overly double loops feels centralised, as in the cables push it back.
It is only ever a feel *off* the bike that you notice, you don't feel a problem and neither is their a hindrance when you ride the bike or when trackstanding or doing 180+ endos etc.
Again, leave as designed and ride.


You are worrying about something before you have even seen and felt what it is like in actual personal use.
