Wanted Goat Gobbler chain guide šŸ

I think itā€™s shaped something like this based on the various pics. With slight sloping/bevelled front edges to it.

Then 4 bolts in the non drive side to bolt the 2 halves together.

I guess it was 1 alu block, drilled and then bevelled edges first, then halved down the middle afterwards.

Great knowledge. So do we think their might be 2 in the world or still likely just the 1 with Steve peat.
I think there is 1, it was tested in the UK by Justin Loretz ealyish in the year, was given back to Andy Kyffin and taken to Mammoth, was passed to JMC and then I suspect back to Andy Kyffin after his death or directly to Peaty at that point. I have a friend in common with Peaty and wil lask him to ask for pics

Long story short, Iā€™ve just got off the phone to Andy Kyffin, we had a good nostalgic chat for 20min or soā€¦ šŸ•ŗšŸ¼

what a legend, I now have more info about it than I ever imagined And he is going to very kindly send me some old pics when he gets a chance.

watch this spaceā€¦ (but give me a few weeks !!)

Pics of the version Peaty has would still be amazing for the record & archives.

Behold, I give you the elusive ā€˜Goat Gobblerā€™ chain guide, as designed by Andy and his dad (A Motor bike mechanic I think he said)

He reconned they made around a handful of prototypes across the few years that they used them.

The name came to them in a ā€˜TV interviewā€™ where they were asked about the chain guide, Andy just said itā€™s called ā€˜errr Goatā€¦ā€™ and looked at Jason next to him for help in bemusement, who then sort of finished the name off with ā€˜errr Gobblerā€™, they had a a good laugh about it.

All images rights belong to Andy, he suggested they were silver mk1 & blue mk2 models:
