first retro build

Great basis for a project.
I really want one of these, if you ever decide to sell......................

Good luck with the resto however & plenty of pics/updates please.

Ok folks!

Here's a a lite update on my first project , the paint looks amazing so here's a few pics . The bb and headset are fitted but slight issue with steerer being about 5mm short. Luckily I work in a machine shop so I ll make a sleeve up and I ll cut and extend the existing one and get it Tig fused so will be just as strong.

Next job is to get the wheels built when I find the right rear hub! Then it's just a case of putting it altogether then go get it dirty!

Really nice, did you use Argos in the end?

Cheers:):) no a company called sprayrite in Wiltshire , a friend of my fathers so mates rates! Still a bit pricey but no half measures on my first build :)

Re: Re:

Good to meet you in slam69 today - I'd spied your wheels out the back a bit earlier - very nice!

you'll only regret compromising and then spend more money later on undoing your wrongs
