Does anyone know what steel a Sunn 'Tox' was made from?

If you're still looking for one, there's someone asking for valuation of a Tox in this thread.
I told him to consider stripping it down, so don't wait too long if you want to make him an offer.

Moved on from this idea now chaps, as is so often my way
There was one locally on ebay, but the guy wouldn't answer questions re. size and whether the seat post would move, plus he had a starting bid of £100 and as time went on and he relisted it and no one bid, he lowered it. To £90. :facepalm:
Was hoping to bung in a offer of fifty quid, then noticed the broken spokes in the wheels in the (very poor) pics, so had basically forgotten all about it. Thanks for the help that was offered though, at least if another one does come up for £50 I'll be better informed!

Okay then Kaz sorry to see it fell by the way side due to being mucked about but like you say their just might be another one come up some time in the future which catches your attention and your better equiped with details now if the chance does arise so we'll see what the future brings ...
