Death - a thorny subject

Some interesting points raised on this thread.

Although I'm always open to discussion and opinions my thoughts are a simple thread where people are able to pay their respects suffices and strikes the correct balance in such situations.

With regards to collections, flowers and so on think this is something which is to be considered on a case by case basis.

Not sure i would agree this is necessary :? Yup it with us everywhere but death though this secret part of life doesnt need celebrations or as said messages from complete strangers and a sticky thread would look rather depressing.

Ive just had to deal with this is believe me the way you recover from mourning is to forget*. Im not sure anyone would find a condolences page comforting, i think it would be quite the reverse.
* As in it becomes less imposing on your daily moment by moment thinking
If you knew the member and his family personally or knew them to ride with then an appearance at the funeral would be more than appropriate :?

Perhaps if anything ,pics could be collected and sent if the member was piccied on a retro run or something.
