Dawes Mirage or Double Blue?

I bought this frame many years ago, but until now the yellow has kept me from building it up. I have now decided to strip and repaint this frame. But in what colour(s)?

It is obviously a repainted Dawes, but which model? A little desk research has led me be to believe it is from the late 1970's, and either a Mirage or a Double Blue.

Is my analysis correct?

Is there a difference between the two models, other than the colour and the OEM parts selection?

Looks like a 79 frame.
