Fab frames! They are on a par in my view with some of the American exotica (I have a 94/95 Edge XT in 653). They are desperately underrated and undervalued.

I've only seen one Dawes 653 about 20 years ago and it was more of an ATB than a MTB.

Really nice strong looking frame, it was done in BRG and really looked the part as well. Shame I never got to tide it tbh.

You're right about values and I'm not going to ask silly money for mine either.

Sometimes, it's about giving it another lease of life rather than the money.
