My first forray into the modern full suss world....
Daft question first - should I be able to manually compress the shaft in a Fox rear shock by hand?
I've just got a used Flox Float R off ebay and I thought I'd be able to compress the shock off the bike fully with no air in, but I can only get about 5mm with all my weight on it. I just want to make sure this is normal before I fit it. Which leads me on to....
Will a Fox shock fit onto the same mounting kit for a 5th Element shock?
The current shock is a 5th element coil, I'm pretty sure I've read somewhere that the mounts are the same but cant find the link.
Thanks
Stu
