Your version look a older than the set I’ve got .. RSRs. Think the spider on yours comes off much easier. .. I think.
Mine are ones like the image. (But with battle scars).
No way the spider is coming off em.

Perhaps you are right. At the moment I have disassembled two cranks older than the RSR, I also have those, I'll take a look. although I think the protocol is the same. Pressure, with washer and screw.

Totally different brand, one is Cooks Quality Products, yours are Cooks Bros.

Ah yes correct - I didn't look at his photo properly, I just read the title. His are CQP.
Mine are Cooksbros... and taking the spider off these, as M-Power warned, is not a good idea.

CQP was set up by one of the brothers who started Cook Bros, a couple of years after the Cook Bros. brand had been sold.
The fella who bought Cook Bros. off them, then sued him apparently ... or so the story goes.
