King set up nicely (hey, I fitted it!) - Fox Vanilla, 100mm travel, std length headtube.

I always thought the rubbing was cos someone fitted something wrong, but theres a lovely groove in my steerer now :?
Bearings still sweet though.. which usually get trashed in a couple of dozen rides on other hsets. :roll:

Am thinking King lower and race, and another make top and preload would prolly work best.

I have a washing machine slammed into a cement corner of the basement.
Throw a ton of dirty crap down its throat each week for ten years and...
