Carlton identification

This is a Carlton Cyclone, from the Raleigh Arena era , didnt any of you have one in your youth?

Here's the frame number - I managed to figure out it was Worksop November 1970.
Decal says Circuit but I guess anyone could have put that on there..

Perhaps someone could confirm, but this looks to me to be a "Carlton" made after Raleigh closed all frame production in Nottingham, but kept an assembly only line.

Carlton shut its doors May 1981 so a Worksop frame. If it has no holes in the head tube then it's a Carlton badged bike as by then the riveted head badge had gone. I still think Raleigh had 3 holes for the head badge.

Hi Can anyone help me identify this bike - think it might be a old Carlton..? Bought of guy who cleared out an estate, Im in Christchurch, New Zealand - only stuff he knows, was a large lady bike club member who toured in the South Island of NZ in the 1970's - the bike has Shimano 600, early edition with scroll work on the fittings - levers are non-aero driller 600 levers - rims are Mavic
The only frame number is can find is just below the seat post on the back of the Frame - Ref: NB5254512. Any help would be appreciated. Looking to place a Brooks B17 open saddle and maybe some Raynolds stickers if they suit the spec and quaility of the Frame again any help of suggestions..Cheers Neil.
