Can someone please help identify the model of this crankset please? Thank you in advance. All I know is that it’s a compact 10 speed in 110bcd. Im leaning towards Veloce.

Now would I be able to get these to work on my bike that has An Athena 8 speed crank on it using my current bottom bracket?

That be a Triomphe; the spider’s subtly different to the Victory.
Can’t help with the B.B. question sorry, but I suspect it’s probably not compatible.

Isn't an 8 speed crankset just a square taper set up? And isn't that the same as the Triomphe in the photo? If so, aren't they interchangeable? Or am I missing something?

That’s what I’m hoping for. I was curious because the chain rings on the Triomphe are 52/36 which would be nicer for lower gearing. I currently have a 13-28 Miche cassette on the way, so that might be enough.

I haven’t ridden a 53/39 in years since changing all my bikes to compacts.

It’s a Mid 80’s Triomphe crankset. The Victory model was similar but the 5 arms tapered less severely towards the fixing bolts and didn’t have a ‘waist line’ before they broaden again at the ends.
