Cannondale CAAD3 Team Saeco

£50...........
£50....................
£50...............................

And I've always been told that Norway is VERY EXPENSIVE

Great purchase - and a super bike especially with those wheels.

Of all the 90's aluminium team bikes, this was my favourite.

Re:

wow, what a deal! i spent 50 quid on my saeco colored alter stem alone.
great bike, also! i'm riding mine slightly period incorrect with a campy 9 speed record mix.
nice and quirky.

Hehe, normally is! I just got really lucky with this deal :)

Great looking bike, and that stem looks awesome! I've been struggling with the Coda-stem on mine for a couple a weeks, completely frozen. If I end up having to cut it to get it out, I will look for a stem like yours for sure!

Bargain of 2015 already!

very good looking bike indeed. The Spinergy's are fine, but there is a recommended rider weight limit. They also make an awful noise if you hit a hole in the road! I check mine regularly for hairline cracks etc. Considering they are supposed to make you faster through aero advantage, I go far slower as i'm constantly looking at the road so I can avoid potholes!

what a find! Just sold this frame for 100 €. And had to turn offers down...

I've seen 200-225 lbs been mentioned, do you know if that is correct? I'm 6'4" and probably borderline if it is in the low end of that spectrum.

From memory I thought it was 190lbs - without wishing to worry you, but if you read the 'special note' on here http://www.spinergy.com/catalog/tech/tech_v2.php you will see why I frequently check mine.

If you are interested in a little science, Sheldon Brown did a piece using the 1st gen Rev X's, see here: http://sheldonbrown.com/rinard/wheel/index.htm

Spinergy will be able to confirm the weight limit.... http://www.spinergy.com/catalog/contact_us.php
