Old School Hero
Just seeing what’s out there at the moment.
I have a 56 2015 Hi mod team Supersix. It’s a force-red Mix, force long cage rear mech that’s barely used. Super light TRP magnesium calipers. Will have Deda supeleggera post, prologo saddle, not sure on the bars and stem that will be on it. 1350g alloy wheels (built for me and not had much use) and the 8 arm spidering that’s unmarked and like new. Overall the bike is in fantastic condition. BB is like new as is the headset. Weights 6.4kg as it is.
I’ve been looking at Retro Dale’s, Caad3-Caad5, six13, system 6. Ideally Dura Ace, perhaps spinergy. I do love Saeco bikes but it doesn’t need to be. I realise these can be hard to value and sell at hugely varying prices.
Looking at a swap. Don’t mind a swap without wheels as I know most folk have these.
I’d guess the value on my bike is around £1000 give or take but as I know the history of the frame I’d put it slightly higher. purchased the frame from an aquantence recently who’d done less than 500 dry miles since 2015, it sat in his spare bedroom.
Ive changed most of the parts and I’ve done a few hundred since owning it. It’s my second hi-mod Supersix so isn’t really necessary. Overall the bikes in great condition.
I’m not in a desperate rush or desperate to swap.
