.....used a small screw instead of a grub screw

I've tried those and they won't work unless the head of the screw is the same size, or smaller, than the barrel. The recess that they fit in on the brake is quite deep and the arms of the brake are quite wide. Think of Onza HOs and then double the thickness of the arm.

Don't tell me, the grub screws will be as hard to find as the nipples knowing my luck!

:idea: I can't believe that I never thought of that! I'll have to try some of those at work tomorrow! There's several sets of the DMR ones, that come in different colours, on the shelves.

could you tell me if those pimp my pedal pins are alloy or steel ? ive been suspecting they are alloy . i use some stainless steel ones a guy on ebay machines up , longer than terror pins

regarding the pads from the 93-5 era were brownish in color can't remember if they had a ceramic mix in the pads material or were targeted at ceramic rims.
