Thank you fotorat1 for getting this going again! I have to dig some bikes out of storage and decide what to enter.

Polite note the mods - please can you let me know if you can set up a poll for this at the start of May?

Heres mine for this month:

No build thread Im afraid - infact when the frame arrived I had it built and riding in 3 hours- I was so excited I didn't stop for photos. Its mostly M975 with Stans Alpine's and cheapo KS Dropper - the only job I need to do on it now is a volume spacer for the rear shock.

Fotorat1's, 2008 Yeti 575

Re:

Here we go with my first ever entry. It may be low end but it’s the highest end I’ve got so be kind. I give you:

Rotorhead’s 1999 Marin Nail Trail

No build thread. Sorry: it was taken from trash to this over a very long period.

FWIW I actually prefer your Marin over the Yeti

The mud guards and bar ends on the 575 might make it more purposeful like adding a towing bracket on a Porsche 911 but ruins the lines/shape

Nice to see the more modern stuff returning ....

Agree my 575 would look tidier with the mudhugger on the back - but I cant bring myself to zip tie it to the carbon seat stays, and I always run a rear guard if only to protect the dropper, my ergon bar ends are the massive ones, they are very comfy for long climbs, but pig ugly.
