Best buy pedals £30 to £50

Re:

Shimano MX30. I think they might have been discontinued though. But I had a set for nearly ten years - and they must have done close on 100 miles a week.

The Saint mx80s look like an update of them.

thanks guys ile have a look again in a short while
ive been reading all the reviews
an then noticed theres improved electrons "evos" too
ile check the saints out too i need coffee an a shower
my heads booming an my eyes are sore haha
hope i can make my mind up before the offer finishes :)

does anyone know what the true weight of
DMR V8 Magnesium's are there supposed
to be 100g lighter but crc have put 428g same as the normal ones

just been checking the saints out
the stock pins look really short on crcs photo

cant help but think alot of the reviews of pedals on crc
are fake both for an against :)

i think i am going to end up going for the dmr v12s to be honest :)

Not a big dmr fan but they last forever. Grip doesn't compare to Superstar nano or nukeproof electrons. Electrons are lighter with tough resin body. Super grip. About £33 from chain reaction.

wot do you reckon about the new 2015 evo electrons? there only a quid dearer an have an extra pin :)

dmr v8s are slippy when wet an my foot slipped at a vital time once
an it scared the crap out of me

they have got fixed pins you cant replace an a lot of people
moan about them needing greasing an or a slight service b4 use

theres new d12s now an the mag 1s are 350g
but not seen any reviews though

pedals is the only thing i normally make a bad choice on
so im trying to be a fussy get this time :O)

Not seen or used them so hard to say. But look very similar to the electrons.

Electrons or superstars, either are brilliant pedals they really are. Moving from old school style pedals like DMRs to these was a revelation for me, foot planted all the time, the grip is immense.

I just got my stainless ones off ebay :D

They are just standard stainless nuts and bolts - you can pick your length to, longer if you want to add grip (or shorter to reduce shin damage ...)

WD :D

I have current modern DX
Good shape but the pins wear quickly and even reasonable smooth soles can slip.

Quite a dilemma is the pedal issue :? A foot coming off or enough pins to cleave the flesh from your shin :D

Re:

I've got 661 riot shin pads but there well heavy too heavy for xc
i am looking 4 some light ones maybe even don some long socks with old football shin pads not the 1s with ankle guards :)
