Bianchi has had Giant of Taiwan build frames for them. Giant serial numbers start with a "G".

Think that's a G at the start, the forks may be original then. Drop outs are strange though @non-fixie

Won the battle of the stuck handlebar stem,it was a close fought thing! That seat cluster seems very Italian,it turns up on Moser's, Fondriest's and Olmo and there must be others.Paint stripper and wire brushed the BB and it is definitely a G at the start of the serial number.

It looks like the first three digits read "GD1", which would indicate an early 1991 Giant (or '01, but that doesn't seem very likely).

A quick leafing through some online Bianchi catalogues of the era didn't yield anything, though. Perhaps a country-specific model?
