Another 96 Saracen Kili

Just thought I would stick this up here even though its built.

Got this off of Mark (letmetalktomark), It's one of thoes 96 Saracen Kili frames, the ones with the Ritchey dropout's.

Decided to put the forks I got off Mark a while ago back on it and set about building it up with XT, Magura and a smidge of XTR.

Love the ride of these and this frame fits my lanky frame perfect.

So guess what I went and did???




Yep bought another in the same colour and size :roll: This will be my SS project. Below 2 pics

To be honest I put a bid in and forgot about it as was at a funeral until late on Friday. Got home and yes was a bit chuffed

Going to build the frame as is and look at maybe getting it powdercoated later in the year. Thinking a british racing green??

I've gone through a few retro bikes since being on here and could never get on with the geometry of older frames but these suit me perfect.

Love the seat stays and the Ritchey dropouts.
