And today I did......

Was in Aberdeen with the wifey today, quite a nice city actually, feckin cold tho.

Ps ribs on the mend, I can now sleep on my side so likely bruised not broken.
Shoulder surgeon recommened op to repair shoulder, will be in within 2 weeks, then 12 weeks rehab. Gonna be beasting the gym for leg and cardio work to try to keep some semblance of fitness. Should get full movement and strength back. Will keep u.posted on progress

Thats quick Keith - is that the NHS? Who's your consultant, Prof McKay by any chance?

Good news re the ribs. Shoulder takes a while to mend after the op, but it'll be as good as new.

Nah private thru works health scheme.

Yep Gordon mackay thru in Ross hall glesga. My Physio saw me Monday night and said thought it would be an option and gave the specialist a call. Squeezed me in for assessment Friday.

Bit of a relief like.

Another 22 miles on the S/S bringing the total for the week up to 102.6 miles

Ballageigh, the highest point in Renfrewshire No prizes for this photo taken on my old phone that I use when cycling

I doubt that zigzag, just trying to keep a reasonable level of fitness up now that the cold weather has arrived, I certainly won't be keeping going at this level. Believe me I would rather sit in front of the fire stuffing my face with chocolate. That's 102 on the S/S and of course the 56 on Arran last Saturday, not bad for an old geezer

One of the reasons I did my route in reverse today was because of that low sun, yesterday going up to Eaglesham the sun was ahead of me and in my eyes, my fear was a driver not being able to see properly and running into me so I didn't want to risk it again today.

Great picture Aaron, your creative side showing. I see you've managed a few miles yourself the last couple of days

94.9 Km at an average of 27.7 km/h to wear off yesterdays gluttony.

First frost stinger morning BBBBrrrrrrr! Lovely sunrise and no cars whatsoever. Choice!
