Amazing cheap work stand!

Investing in a decent stand is much the same as getting a decent jack for your motor.

You can get by with a cheap one, but a good quality item will make it a joy when you have a lot of work to do.

Regarding the one in the OP & the Lidl one to stop it twisting with the bikes weight all you have to do is to drill all the way through the top bar & put a bar/screwdriver through them.

Mine has never slipped, just flexes a bit. Never bothered me TBH!

Got mine from decathlon, the clamp can be a little fiddly but very strong.
