ADROIT 1996/97 BUILD

You'll have your hands full with that one. To my knowledge, DI2 is a road grouppo; Shimano hasn't adapted it for MTB use (at least they haven't yet). To truly go modern, won't you need to look at a disc brake set up? How will that work with the frame and your existing SID fork? For wheels, what do you have in mind? (something tubeless I'm assuming given the goal of being modern)

I was going to put xtr latest vbrakes on because the forks can take disc or v's. If i could get disc on rear then i would go full disc and put these sweet wheels on but without lefty hub.

DI2 has been put on several mountain bikes, but you are quite right it is designed for road.

I dont know wether to put riser bars on or flats, but they must be carbon.

thanks andy

The build, the build!
No reason not to put all new gear on a nice older frame. Works for me as well on my DBR. ;)
