Cheers Jamie, the ride went pretty well, I can't blame the bike for poor performance it's been a long cold winter and ive not ridden much. I adjusted bars, saddle and fd en route and apart from that everything was good. Geometry of the bike was great the 28mm tyres rolled well and the brakes were fine with fresh blocks. It's perhaps set up more for relaxed riding than group rides, on the tops it's a nice upright position to take in the sights. My first Brooks treated me pretty well too, just need to raise the nose up a little. With all the bad weather I was able to take my time setting this one up and I'm really pleased with the result.
Nice bit of quality that, red saddle bag goes well...
