Decided to try a single speed special this month. Let's hope we can get a few entries. Remember if you've already entered your ss in a normal month you can have another try in a special month (as long as it didn't win the normal month).

Usual rules apply otherwise http://www.retrobike.co.uk/wiki/BoTM_Rules

It's useful for the poll if you can structure your nomination as follows:

username's Year Manufacturer Model , e.g. John's 1990 Kona Lavadome
Image(s) MAXIMUM OF 2
Finally please include a link to your machine in the relevant Reader's Bikes section. If you don't have an existing post now is the time to add one with as much detail as you like!

Nominations thread will run for the entire month. Entries submitted after March 31st will not be counted. The poll will go up shortly after the nominations close and will run for a week.

Madmax1993's ... Mcbike Mountain DX
I'm sorry, I haven't got a build thread for this one, I just threw it together out of the parts bin, but I really wanted to build a beach cruiser inspired silly pub cruiser. The frame was the cheapest, loudest coloured one in the Bike Station Edinburgh that week. IMG_20220111_153406.jpg

I feel this must be pre 98?

Would a '97 date stamped '98 model P7 be OK for this?

If I enter a "special BOTM" can I still put it in a "general" one in the future

Thx

If it's a 98 model I would say it belongs here. You can enter it in a special and a normal, as long as it doesn't win the first one you enter it in 👍

I'm getting the camera out on the weekend. Not sure I can compete with that Surly though...

I had a Kona Unit but sold it a few months back, I see the purchaser has listed it on eBay for more than twice the price they paid me
