Adding some more pics and build details prior to BOTM submission

This build was pretty fun as there was no specific example of this bike to follow so I used my imagination for how I would expect it to look. If the bike was made for a Cagiva motorcycle racing team rider or a team VIP from the early 90's.

Build Highlights:

Shimano Deore XT M737 Rear Derailleur - used but fully rebuilt, XT M738 Front Derailleur - nos, XT M732 Thumbshifters - used, XT M730 Crankset - used, XT M734 black cantilever brakes- nos, XT M730 black seat post - nos, XT M730 Brake levers- nos

Ritchey WCS black handlebars- nos, WCS Logic threadless head set - nos

Michelin Cross Country Competition XL S tires - nos

Roox Dannys Stem white nos

Sun Rhynolite black wheels/spokes/Deore Hubs - used

Turbo white saddle - used

Added a few Scapin decals as well as some Agip oil ones too

Honestly, I tried a new white re-pop turbo saddle and it was just too bright.

That's pretty special! That red paint looks sumptuously amazing!!! And a rather tasty Duke in the background too!

Thanks @27motorhead. The paint is really nice, I honestly think its the same exact red paint or at least the red color that was on the same era Ducatis like the 916 or 900ss.

Certainly does feel like a very Italian red to me, even over the internet! 916 era Ducati paint was always special. Had many a tussle with 916/996's on track days a while back. Lovely bikes, but the sound of an Italian V-twin hunting me down haunts me!

I also cycle past a specialist Italian supercar garage on the way to work and the colour reminds me of those cheap Ferrari's, Maserati's and Lamborghini's they have parked up outside ready for an eye watering service
