1991 Grove Innovations X build thread

Something about Bill Grove bikes. Last fall I purchased this frame from Martin at Second Spin cycles in the US. Frame is in great shape with all original paint/decals. He had the hammer head bars, hardcore fork and hot rod cranks painted to match the original red metallic/black splatter. Size M. I build it up from there with mainly xt m730 & m737. That's a beauty. I think I nearly bought that one before it was repainted. Will the back tyre drag on a bottle in that rear facing cage?

Its funny that you ask. I tried really hard to get everything set far enough back that it did not rub and I just could not make it fit without rubbing a little. The painted bottle cages are so cool I that I wanted to leave it on even if I can't use it.
 
That really is a thing of beauty - and a new one for me Those forks look fab, any more pics of the bar/stem combo as it's amazing!
