Just spoke to my blaster he said the powder coat should come off ok and he can be "gentle" around the crack !

Chatting to my mate it might be able to ultrasound the crack before stripping the powder coat, depends on what's cheaper a blast £15 or the ultrasound £??
Unless I get the wife to take it into her clinic and slot it in between the expectant mums
