1992 Diamondback Apex - back to the future

Ah, go on then . . .

It's done! Love the look of it :p but what now? Strangely, I have no urge to take it out and get it filthy at all - maybe 'cause it's not a Kona, I don't know. Freakin' expensive wall ornament though

Re:

Spam away by all means, we love bike porn. I've never seen snake skin look tires before, trippy. BTW ride that bad boy, and enjoy. You did a nice job, enjoy the spoils.

Ha, cheers! Yep, I didn't think the tyres would be to everyones taste ;)

You know, I'd never thought about the tiles being a bit Mint Sauce-esque before - I have cows and chickens too you know

Well, in true mama style, I'm seriously thinking of letting this go now  .

The frame and forks are pristine and the wheels barely have any marks to the rim anodising - I probably paid waay more than I should have and the ebay shop from which I bought it still has most of the other parts listed for a premium - I'd dearly love to buy all the other original parts and build it back up fully geared but the cost would be waaaay more than the complete bike would be worth. It's been a super-enjoyable build but I can't justify such an expensive wall ornament  .

The hideous tyres are already on the 'Bay (actually I do like them  ) and I will probably list the DX wheelset this weekend.

Ah, wheels are already sold sorry. I'll be listing the frame and parts tomorrow though. Gotta let it go now as I've dropped the cash on a(nother) new bike. I'll be back . . . ;)
