I believe quite a few Roberts have been painted in this metallic light pink over the years. What you can see in most photos is a faded version of it but around the front mech hanger area and inside the stays is more the original pink which you can see featuring on the Roberts on this website - https://www.thespoken.cc/roberts-strada

I had a White Spider in 1989 that was painted metallic pink, a colour offered by Roberts. The colour was called “Hot Pink”. It is a bit darker than the photos suggest and the colour in metallic has quite a nice richness and depth to it. There will be frame sprayers who worked for Roberts that are still around and they will know this colour. Some time researching the internet will get you the information you need. Try Geoff Roberts and also Varonha cycles owned by Winston Vaz who built frames for Chas Roberts. I‘m not 100% sure but I think his brother Mario painted many of the frames.
