If it was me I would be going for a full DeoreII set up to give the flavour of the original but the benefits of Hyperglide, 21 speed and 2 finger levers.

Honestly I would have gone for a white rear end, or maybe even swapped the red and silver around. But saying that it is an awesome bike and Double U's are so cool I love your black one too
