Thanks! Are you sure about the year? I am a bit confused with the framenumbers. On the Mombat website it is stated as being a 1989 frame.

Still very content with the Merlin. I need to add a decal to the handlebars and put on the right front derailleur.

I would like to replace the tires with some Specialized Ground Controls and the stem with a Salsa roller stem (same length and rise). Some recent pictures:

I prefer the cable stop on the headset to going w/the roller because in case i want to adjust bar height i won´t touch front brake cable. These days i like my bars as tall as they can can be. Those brake levers are excellent... but they are heavy: problem w/ lightweight frames is i feel the pressure to weigh and lighten every single component.
