1988 merlin mountain #250

That's my old bike! Very cool but sadly just a bit big for me. The original owner lived in Vegas.

Here is the bike with a parts bin build - Cook Bros cranks and bar, Wojick stem and forks, mag Grafton front stoppers and IRD progressive rear and a mix of Ringle and American Classic bits.

did you sell it w those components? or did you sell it as frame?
i initially planned to build it up w all custom IRD, cooks parts etc, but then decided to go all stock m730 xt shimano

Likewise! I sold it as a frame with a Steve Potts Type II fork. I think the way you built it up works well.
