1987 Rockhopper BB Spindle Length

New to the forum and building up a 1987 Rockhopper for my eldest daughter. Picked up the Rockhopper as a bare frameset so the BB spindle length is a bit of a mystery. We are looking to run a vintage Suntour XC Pro triple. The BB shell is definitely a 68, but want to get the right cartridge BB the first time.

While the BB shell width depends on the frame (for obvious reasons) the spindle length is determined by the chainset you're using (not by the frame). I can't answer your question but someone on here probably can, so if you edit the title of your post above to something like 'Suntour XC Pro triple BB Spindle Length", you will probably get an answer before long. If there's an exact model number, that might help too.

A thread with some pictures of the Rockhopper in the Reader's Bikes section would be good (hint, hint).
