I think there were about five generations of deltas before they were properly sorted

Were they ever properly sorted???

Re:

Huh. My Deltas are stunningly good. Better than modern Dual Pivots. They requires a little common sense to initially set up, but once done provide excellent modulation, and outright stopping power far in excess of tyre grip. Mine are last series, bought NOS in a Geoffrey Butler stock clearance in the mid '90s. Look great work brilliantly. I've never understood why people diss them.

Why did this record group become known as C Record??

How rare is this group; the one with the blue "stones" in the brake arch nut?

How much would one expect to pay for a used group in good condition?

Also; can you run the brake levers aero and/or traditional??

Anyone want to have a stab at the value of the group, I'm bidding on a bike with this group and it is all getting a bit expensive.

If it's a full bike, then a lot would depend on what make the frame and forks are, and of course what condition everything is in

It's the group show above with standard arches with the blue nut

A few days ago a Pinarello with c record and deltas went for €1010.
