Re:

Well 2 1/2 years after starting this build and sidetracked by other things, looks like I finally have a fork.... just ignore the last one, it didn't fit.

A chromed Spinner is on the way, so maybe I will finish this shortly.

Hey Ho!

Well the bike is finished, and I'm so happy with it. A fitting tribute to Lars 'Klunkin' Larry' Weber...RIP brother. X

Need to see more of this, some great parts and i should imagine you have quite a collection of forks as you seem to go through a few for every build :D

Yes I have a fork shelf!

I'll get some shots done soon.

Long time lurker, first time posting, I joined RetroBIKE to ask this of Al:
Do you have any information regarding that stem you posted years ago, before the switch to the slingshot? If I wasn't savvy enough to post a picture, you'll have to browse back to page 1 in order to see it.

Re:

Welcome to Retrobike.

The 4 bolt stem was made by Nitto.

It's a lovely chunk of alloy! I am a fan of the Slingshot as well, but the bars I'm planning for my project need a narrow clamp. I like that you've left the finish on the Schwinn "as is". It really tells the tale of the bike.
