    Hi Roger cheers for the info. Still not able to find a serial number and as much as i would love to get it powdered there is no one on the IOM who does it. Will get it all stripped tomorrow hopefully so will have a proper look then cheers.

    front shifter seems ok but the rear is badly corroded and very stiff. I'll strip grease and rebuild and see what it's like. Headset seems ok and BB spins freely. Again strip clean grease and rebuild. Paint shoddy in places but I'll bead blast it and have it resprayed in the orange and white...

    Hi All Found this today at the local amenity site, very very lucky/happy. Can't seem to find the serial number. How do I go about dating it. Could do with an original spec list/review. Looking forward to this build alot.

    Serial no Y1192627 Also the gussets where the top/down tube join the stearer tube are branded BCM and stamped 72 and 61. Don't know if this means anything to anyone. On a plus note it's now all stripped and at the paint shop for a nice new shiney paint job.

    Frame stripped and ready for the respray tomorrow. The decals were actually stencilled on. Will have a good look befor it goes to see if there is any markings on any of the tubes. Cheers Andy

    Hi All Just bought this Peugot Frame and Fork Reynolds 753. The guy used it to race in the 1990 commonwealth games (IOM Team). It is very light. Going to build it up as a single speed. May need a respray but not sure yet. Will keep you posted.

    cheers guys Will buy the a 2 z and see what its like. I have wheels etc. was planning on a rigid carbon fork, post stem and bars. Not to bothered about the whole retro look but will see how it turns out. The frame is aluminium so braze ons are out. Thanks Andy
