So, I bought an old Galaxy, replaced a few parts, added some tubus racks, sourced some period Panniers and went on a long weekend around the coast of Cumbria (my first ever tour) …loved it. (Since upgraded the wheels, a bigger cassette and a nice xt rear mech)
