IMHO proto types do not carry the value of well known "cult" bikes such as Kona CIndercone, Hei Hei's, Monster Fats, early StumpJumpers, Vit T's, Trek Carbon Y's etc., these are valued because of their pleasure of ride quality and the success they achieved, as much as anything. Interesting though they are, I would have thought it would have been better off in a cycling or technology museum?
