There's lots of things you can do without skills. Start by getting a few different kinds of brush and sponge, and give it a good clean. That's the biggest part of bike maintenance.

Bugger all wrong with the equipe, nice looking bike mine was when I was chipping to school on it.

It'll get you from A-B, you'll be able to fettle & if you really really break it badly, you've still only lost a score...what can go wrong
