I'm currently runnig Specialized Turbo's 26x1"'s on my Kona Hahana "road" bike which I'm happy with , but used to run Continental Grand Prix's for my commute which were also very good, but a glass shard managed to end the life of one of them very prematurely, not sure any tyre would have survived it :-( the explosion was very impressive!!
running them at pretty high pressures (100psi) makes the bike feels /very/ fast compared to off road knobblies

Continental Gator Skins, 26 x 1.125".... Fast as fook man ! Take on the racers with these elastic bands on your rims, think Wiggle were doing 'em cheap too ?
