Never heard/thought of using loctite on BB threads so shall take that on board thanks

I use copper slip on most parts just to stop the buggers seizing up :x

I have a ground down 15mm spanner and a normal one for pedals. But I did see a lovely wooden handled pedals spanner once and have been searching for it ever since

A slimline head 15mm SnapOn extra long combination spanner is far better than any pedal spanner and will last forever.

If you are going to use Loctite, remember to use the blue Loctite, not the red stuff as you might have a wee bit of trouble undoing it if you used the red stuff! Also, I always put a dab of grease on pedal threads before installing them.

I too had to buy 1 after i impaled 2 knuckles on the outer chainring teeth :cry:
