Now I know Spud likes nothing more than a quick irrelevant post....
Finally managed to match a pair of Euclid/Centaur skewers (I can’t tell them apart). One from Spain and the other from Germany, still worked out to half the price of buying them from here!!!

Cleaned up nicely, so I thought I’d weigh them to compare with the titanium light weight skewers I’d been using temporarily.
Must say I was surprised at the difference; 195g - 65g!

I think Curley's wife is a key figure in the novel despite being the only female character.

I might have missed the point though....(other than expanding our cultural horizons by getting us to read Stienbecks novel ‘Of mice & men’?)

Right, I have fundamentally everything now for Jimmy's dream of a Campagnolo bejeweled Lotus… near the front mech, it shows up the intrigue three fixings are to some degree illusive.
